Website Performance Optimization.
Make the site faster where visitors feel it.
I review website performance, identify the causes of slow loading or unresponsive interaction and implement agreed improvements. The work uses your actual pages and constraints, comparing conditions before and after the changes. The aim is better user experience and a maintainable site, with clear evidence of what changed and what remains outside the implementation’s control.

SYSTEM
Start with representative pages and devices
A single score does not describe the entire website. We select important page types and review loading and interaction on relevant screen sizes. Available field data can show what real visitors experience, while lab testing helps investigate causes.
This service suits a custom frontend or framework-based website. WordPress-specific theme, plugin and hosting work has a dedicated service under WordPress, with its own constraints and scope.
Find what is actually causing the delay
I review image delivery, fonts, JavaScript, rendering work and relevant network requests. We distinguish frontend issues from slow server responses or third-party services before choosing changes.
Core Web Vitals concern loading, responsiveness and visual stability. The diagnosis looks at the affected user experience rather than chase one score with changes that remove necessary content or features.
Apply targeted improvements
Agreed work may include better image sizing, adjusted loading priorities, reduced unnecessary JavaScript or changes to expensive rendering. Caching is considered where it fits the content, with care around personalised or private responses.
Animations and interactive backgrounds are reviewed for their effect on the main thread and usability. We preserve the design purpose while reducing work where measurements show a problem.
Compare under documented conditions
I repeat relevant measurements and check affected user journeys after implementation. Results are reported with their test conditions and limitations, because device, connection and third-party behaviour can change a score.
Real-user metrics may take time to reflect a release and require sufficient traffic. A lab improvement does not immediately establish a field result, and neither is a guarantee of a ranking increase.
A performance report and maintainable changes
Deliverables include the baseline findings, agreed code or asset changes, before-and-after measurements and a prioritised list of remaining constraints. The handover explains how future images, scripts or content changes could reintroduce the issues.
Infrastructure migrations, broad redesigns and removal of essential third-party features need separate agreement. The proposal focuses on changes you can evaluate and maintain.
Bring the pages that matter
Share your site URL, framework, hosting setup and any existing performance reports. Tell me which pages drive enquiries or daily use and which behaviours must be preserved. I can then propose an audit boundary and targeted implementation scope.
Before
we begin.
Can you guarantee 100 in PageSpeed Insights?+
No. Scores vary with conditions and external services. I target measured bottlenecks and report the results honestly rather than promise a fixed score.
Will this improve Google rankings?+
Page experience can support a usable site, but rankings depend on many factors. Performance work does not guarantee a search position.
Can we keep the animations?+
Usually we can assess and optimise the parts causing unnecessary work. Any visual changes or feature removal are discussed as part of the scope.
Tell me what
needs to change.
Send the website, important pages and the loading or interaction issues visitors are experiencing.
