Business Management Software Development.
One connected view of the work behind your business.
I build browser-based management software for businesses whose operations are spread across spreadsheets, inboxes and separate tools. We connect the records and responsibilities behind the work: orders, stock, suppliers, approvals or service delivery. The starting point is one important operational flow, with clear ownership and permissions. You get a system designed around your process, rather than a collection of dashboards that still requires staff to reconcile everything by hand.

Connect operations that currently live apart
A management application is most useful when several teams work with the same information but maintain separate copies. Sales may record an order, purchasing may arrange supply and operations may schedule delivery. Each handover becomes harder when no one can see the current state.
This service focuses on connected business processes. A small tool for one isolated task may be better served by internal tools development. A full replacement for every business system is not assumed.
Choose the first operational flow
We map the people, records, decisions and exceptions involved in one valuable workflow. Possible modules include inventory management, purchasing, order management, project delivery and approval tracking. We decide which belong together and which should remain in an existing product.
The specification identifies record ownership, status changes and the roles allowed to make them. Reporting definitions are agreed before dashboards are built, so terms such as available stock or completed order have one meaning.
Build around connected records and permissions
I develop the application in reviewable increments, starting with the core records and the journey between them. Staff see the actions their role requires. Sensitive actions can have additional checks and an activity history where the business needs traceability.
Existing accounting, ecommerce or warehouse tools can remain part of the system through agreed integrations. We plan how updates are exchanged and how failed synchronisation is surfaced. Financial or regulatory requirements need a separate review with the appropriate business specialists.
Prepare the data and check real scenarios
If you are moving from spreadsheets, we examine sample data early: duplicates, missing identifiers and inconsistent formats can change the migration effort. Imports are rehearsed and reviewed against agreed totals before live records are moved.
Testing covers permissions, conflicting updates, unavailable integrations and the workflows staff use every day. Backup and recovery arrangements are documented for the chosen hosting setup, with responsibilities made explicit.
A handover your team can use
You receive the agreed modules, source code, database changes, integration setup and a guide to common administration tasks. The handover covers user access, importing data and interpreting operational statuses, not just how to deploy the code.
We also record known limits and the process for future changes. A later phase might add another team or workflow once the first release is being used; the system does not need every proposed module on day one.
Bring the process, not a perfect specification
Share an example order or job moving through your business, the tools involved and the reporting you currently struggle to obtain. Remove sensitive customer information from examples. From there, we can define a manageable first release and the integrations it depends on.
Before
we begin.
Can you build inventory and order management software?+
Yes. We can connect stock records, orders and purchasing within an agreed scope. Warehouse rules, reservations, returns and multiple locations are clarified before implementation.
Is this a complete ERP replacement?+
Not automatically. We assess the workflows you need and whether to extend, integrate with or replace parts of your existing software. A focused operational application may be more appropriate than replacing a mature ERP.
Can existing spreadsheet data be imported?+
Usually, after reviewing its structure and quality. We agree mapping rules, rehearse the import and reconcile the result. Data cleanup and any unsupported formats are identified in the scope.
Tell me what
needs to change.
For example, a distribution business could connect purchase requests, incoming stock and customer orders with role-based approvals. Share the spreadsheets or tools you use, the teams involved and the point where information gets lost.
