Web Application Development.

Your workflow deserves more than another spreadsheet.

I build custom web applications for businesses with a process to improve or a product to launch. That could be a customer portal, an internal operations tool or the first release of a SaaS product. The work starts with the people using it: what they need to do, what gets in their way and what a useful first version must accomplish.

When a custom application makes sense

You are copying information between tools, managing approvals through messages or asking customers to work around software that does not fit. A custom application can bring those steps into one usable workflow. If an existing product already handles the job well, I will help you assess that before recommending a build.

A first release with a clear purpose

We define the core journey before expanding the feature list. For a customer portal, that might mean account access, a request form, status updates and a staff review screen. For an internal tool, it might mean one reliable approval process. These are examples of possible scope, not claims about previous client work.

From workflow to working software

I map the users, permissions and data, then turn the main journey into screens and a working application. Progress is reviewed through usable increments. Testing includes incorrect inputs, missing information, permission boundaries and the less obvious states users encounter after the first successful demo.

What you receive

An agreed release scope, application code, the necessary data model and integrations, deployment configuration and practical handover notes. The proposal identifies the environments, features and testing included, so a first release does not quietly become an unlimited project.

Technology follows the requirements

Python, C#, .NET, PHP and JavaScript-based applications can suit different systems. I choose around your existing software, hosting constraints, integrations and maintenance needs. The aim is a product you can operate and extend, with a clear reason for each major technical choice.

What affects the estimate

The number of user roles, integrations, complex business rules, existing data and launch requirements matter more than a simple screen count. Share the main workflow, any existing application and the most important outcome. I can then separate launch essentials from features that can wait.

USEFUL TO KNOW

Before
we begin.

Can you improve an existing application?+

Yes. The first step is to review its code, deployment setup and current issues. That review determines which parts are worth keeping and whether a focused improvement is more practical than a rebuild.

Do I need a complete specification?+

No. A description of the users, the problem and the outcome is enough to begin a scoping discussion. I turn that into a bounded first release before development is agreed.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Tell me what
needs to change.

Tell me who will use it, what they need to accomplish and what you use today.
