Figma to React Development.

Carry the design through to real interactions.

I implement approved Figma designs in React, translating layout, components and interaction notes into maintainable frontend code. The work covers responsive behaviour and the interface states needed when real content and APIs arrive. We resolve gaps in the design before they become inconsistent decisions scattered through the code.

Treat the design as a system

This service suits a product or website with an approved Figma direction and a defined implementation scope. I review the page structure, shared components and responsive references before estimating the build.

The goal is visual fidelity supported by usable behaviour. A static frame does not specify how an error, open menu or very long label behaves, so those questions need decisions as part of the handoff.

Resolve states and responsive rules first

We identify page variants, breakpoints, typography, assets and component states. Where mobile designs are incomplete, we agree the intended content order and layout rather than simply shrink the desktop frame.

The component map connects repeated Figma patterns to reusable React components. Existing code libraries can be reused when they fit, with any necessary differences documented.

Build the interface for real content

I implement the agreed layouts, tokens and interactions, checking them against the supplied designs in reviewable increments. Forms, navigation and repeated content include the specified states.

API integration is included only where agreed. A visual implementation can use representative data during review, but production data, authentication and missing endpoints remain explicit dependencies.

Review appearance and behaviour together

Verification compares the agreed design views and checks keyboard operation, focus visibility and responsive layout. Long content, empty results and loading states are reviewed because these often reveal issues a perfect sample frame cannot.

Motion is implemented where it has a clear purpose and an agreed specification. Reduced-motion behaviour and performance are considered alongside visual timing.

Source code that explains the design decisions

Deliverables include the React interface source, shared components, assets used within their permissions and notes on responsive and interaction choices. The handover identifies where further backend or content work is required.

This service implements the supplied design. Broad UX strategy, new page design and a complete backend are separate scopes unless explicitly added.

Prepare an implementation-ready brief

Share the Figma file, approved pages, responsive frames and interaction notes. Include your current frontend repository if there is one and explain whether live API integration is required. That allows an estimate based on the real state and page coverage.

USEFUL TO KNOW

Before
we begin.

Can you implement incomplete mobile designs?+

Yes, if we agree the missing responsive decisions before or during the scoped design review. Missing views are identified as work rather than assumed to be free.

Does this include backend development?+

No, unless added to the proposal. API integration can be included when the backend contract and environment are available.

Will generated design-to-code output be enough?+

The delivery is reviewed as application code. Component structure, behaviour and accessibility need deliberate implementation and checking, regardless of any tools used.
